The Coalition of Welcoming Congregations draws together people of faith within San Luis Obispo County for whom welcoming and affirming lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people is an important social justice issue. Many congregations welcome LGBT members and some include them in leadership positions.
